On Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM (Eastern) the Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) invite members to dial into the Direct Connection Series that will focus this time on certification of LGBT owned businesses.

As part of the NGLCC mission to promote economic growth and prosperity for LGBT businesses across the country, the NGLCC offers a certification for LGBT owned businesses. As an Affiliate Member of the NGLCC, you have the opportunity to take advantage of this important business development program.

"Our partnership with the NGLCC is a valuable vehicle for member businesses to help your business connect with new opportunities in and outside of our community," said Chamber President Anita Sloat. "This call will be a great way for you to learn about this creative way to both take pride in your business and grow your customer base."

Through the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative (SDI), businesses may become certified as LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs), where they will be connected to opportunities with America's top corporations and other LGBT owned businesses across the country. Certified LGBT-owned businesses also have the opportunity to utilize a host of educational resources as well as business development programs.
